The food here is fabulous and very good value. The staff were friendly and efficient. The room is amazing and full of interesting art. I cannot recommend it highly enough. My only complaint is that it is an hour and a half's drive from home.

Location spot on. Tucked away in Bishops Stortford Town Centre. Very busy on Friday and Saturday. Noisy but you can still have a conversation. If you want it to be less busy ask to be seated upstairs. Staff very attentive. Me and my wife had Garlic Bread with Cheese and Caramelised Onion, Whitebait, Battered Prawns, Chicken Kofte, Pollo Milanese. We had a Coke Zero, Coke and water for the table. Came to about 95 with service charge. Worth it. Food was spot on. Everything was tasty. Portion size for white bait was generous. Prawns could’ve been a bit better on the portions. Chocolate cake for dessert was nice but I’ll try the chocolate fondant next time as I don’t think it’s worth 8 a slice. Second time here and hasn’t disappointed either time.

The service was really excellent. The food was really really good too. The pina colada was very well made with cream which meant it wasn't watery. Even though it was busy it still seemed private where we were sitting. The fudge chocolate cake reminded me of Bruce in Matilda and it tasted great.

Beautifully decorated restaurant in the Drill Hall building, everywhere you look, you discover another feature that along with the lighting adds a real wow factor. The staff are polite, friendly, experienced and helpful. The food was absolutely amazing, the Japanese coated prawns were the best coated prawns I've ever had and the lamb so tender it melts in the mouth. The atmosphere is great, has a novel way to celebrate birthday celebrations and even though really busy and quite a lot of very comfortable bench seating, you still feel like your table is private. Would strongly advise booking...not sure you would get a table without one. For an unforgettable evening, this definitely deserves my 5* rating.
